"Called to Paint" Exhibition Brockworth Court, Gloucester. April 19th - May 2nd 2008

The exhibition was held in a beautifully restored tithe barn, well suited to the large collection of artwork on display.
It was visited by Christians and non Christians  from the surrounding area as well as further a field, providing opportunities for conversations.
The testimony leaflets available went down very well
and several people revisited with friends.

Watch this space for the next event...

Thank you to the owners of the barn, for their generosity and support.
Thank you to the artists who supported in prayer and by exhibiting.
Thank you to the visitors.
Most of all thank you Father.

The following poem was inspired by the exhibition:

God of being
And all things hidden
Be real
So I may be
Real too.

God of grace
And all forgiving
Empower
Me to let go
And let You
Be.

God of light
And all things beautiful
You
Speak to me
Through
Visions.

God of art
And all things loving
You
Touch me where it hurts
Through
Colour, paint and form.

God of all nature
And all things growing
You enlighten my steps
Through
Nature's beauty.

God of music
And all things heard
You
Help me hear
Your
Lyrics and rhythm.

God of all things
Living and inanimate
You
Are everywhere
Glorified.
